Extra Credit Opportunity for Lab

 

For an additional 10 points towards your lab score, you may complete this assignment.

 

1.       This assignment is optional and worth a maximum of 10 points

2.      This assignment will be submitted directly to Dr. Wargo and not to your lab TAs.

3.      This assignment will be graded on both content and format.  Any deviation from the instructions will result in no point being awarded for the question.

4.      If you are not able to turn in a hard copy in lecture on the due date, you may email it to me.  Please put “181 Lab extra credit” in the subject line.  If you use the link provided below, the subject line has been provided.

 

 

Instructions:

Your assignment will be to look back through the lab manual and handouts and create a cumulative lab “final”. 

 

1.       Create 15 multiple choice questions based on the information in your lab manual, as well as the questions you answered on your handouts.  Questions that are pulled directly from the questions you have in your handouts will not be awarded points.  You must create unique questions based on the lab topics. 

2.      Each question should have five options (labeled a through e) and one of them should be the correct response.

3.      Indicate your correct answer in an easily identifiable format.  Your choice. 

4.      Try to create the questions from as many of the labs as possible. 

5.      You are welcome to create a mix of multiple choice, short answer, and labeling questions with the following limitations:   

a.       For each multiple choice question, have five options (labeled a through e) and one of them should be the correct response.  

b.      You are limited to three (3) labeling questions for anatomy. 

c.       You are limited to five (5) short answer questions. 

6.       The questions should be of a high quality and challenging in nature. 

7.      Due date:  This assignment needs to be submitted no later than noon on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

a.       If you are unable to turn it in during lecture on Wednesday, then email it to me. 

b.      Since this is an extra credit assignment, absolutely no extensions or late papers will be accepted.
